MIOGRAD KOVACIC
My name is Miodrag Kovacic, also known as “Miki.” I grew up in Serbia, where my roots and early experiences shaped who I am today. Later, I embarked on a new chapter in distant Canada, carrying with me the memories and traditions of my homeland. Through all the changes and challenges, one thing remained constant—my deep connection to food. It has always been my solace, my passion, and my bridge to the world.

Bringing truffles to Kovacic Truffles was not just a business decision—it was a deeply personal mission. Founder Miodrag “Miki” Kovacic grew up in war-torn Serbia, where food became a way to connect, heal, and share moments of comfort. Years later, living in Canada, he envisioned blending the essence of his Serbian heritage with a Canadian classic: maple syrup. His search for the perfect balance led him to collaborate with family back home in Serbia, combining the finest truffles with pure Canadian maple syrup. Their enthusiastic feedback confirmed he had created something truly special—an expression of unity, tradition, and hope.
