Movember

Movember

Prostate cancer is a serious issue, but that doesn't mean we can't make it interesting! Did you know that the origins of Movember can be traced back to a group of men in Australia in 2003 who wanted to bring back the mustache as a fashion statement? They decided to turn it into a charity event and raised money for prostate cancer research in the process.

Since then, Movember has grown into a global movement that has raised over $1.5 billion and has funded more than 1,200 men's health projects in over 20 countries. In Canada, Movember has raised over $36 million, and the funds have gone towards supporting prostate cancer research, mental health initiatives, and suicide prevention programs.

Blade and Razor's blue wall with the prostate cancer symbol is a great way to raise awareness and show support for Movember. It's simple but effective, and it's a visible reminder of the importance of men's health. As Blade and Razor's clients have pointed out, it's great to see businesses getting involved and using their platform to make a difference.

Prostate cancer is a serious issue, but we can still have fun while raising awareness and funds. Movember is a great example of this – it's a chance to grow a mustache, show off your facial hair, and support a great cause at the same time. So why not get involved and make a difference? Whether you're growing a mustache or donating to a charity, every little bit helps in the fight against prostate cancer.
